Sam Stands Alone is a Yellowstone character, played by Tokala Black Elk. Stands Alone is a resident of the Broken Rock Indian Reservation, near Bozeman, MT. He and his wife Vedra live next to Kayce and Monica Dutton and her brother Robert Long, who married Samantha Long. As Kayce's family and the Indian nation quarrel and Kayce comes to face Robert Long (his brother-in-law), Stands Alone comes to experience how things take a turn for the worse in their neighborhood.
