Ryker is a character from the series Shane. The landowner and cattle baron, portrayed by Bert Freed, is irritated by the fact that the widowing farmer Marian Starett and her father-in-law Tom Starett live on a piece of land he'd much rather have himself. He plans to make the land his but Shane interferes when he comes into the life of the Staretts and makes himself at home on their little farm.
