Robert Long was a character in the (modern-day) western series Yellowstone. Long, portrayed by Jeremiah Bitsui, was a resident of the Broken Rock Indian Reservation, near Bozeman, MT. He was married to Samantha Long and had three sons. Robert was the brother of Monica Long-Dutton, who is married to Kayce Dutton and therefore part of the Dutton Family that runs the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch.
Biography:
He is an ex-Army veteran who is shown to be trigger happy. As John Dutton and the Montana Livestock Associate plotted to reclaim the cattle from the Reservation, he joined the Broken Rock Reservationpolice to hold off the Livestock agents and failed. Robert retaliated by shooting Lee Dutton in the neck. As a response, Kayce shot Robert 5 times in the torso. Then, as Robert lay on his back, Kayce paused, saying “in case you don’t already know there’s no such thing as heaven,” and then shot him in the head to finish him off.
