Luke Storm is the leader of a band of outlaws. Among these outlaws are the likes of Lennie Dawson and Jed Ryan, as well as Storm's wife Dallas. In the Rawhide episode Incident of the Tumbleweed Dawson and Dallas are brought to Fort Gregg for trial. Marshal Wilt Jackson and his Deputy Art Gray are determined to bring them to the Fort but when they get killed/injured as the prisoners try to escape, trail boss Gil Favor and his ramrod Rowdy Yates take over. Storm, who is portrayed by Val Dufour, sets out to free his gang members.
