Kim is a Yellowstone character played by Valerie Yu. She's a tourist found hanging on a cliff by Rip Wheeler.
She and her boyfriend were walking through the woods but got lost and a grizzly found and went for them, for which they escaped by climbing up a cliff. When the grizzly left, apparently, the two couldn't get down so they attempted to climb up further, ending up hanging just by the top when they reached a point where they could not move anymore.
Rip eventually finds them and throws them his lasso to pull them up, but the two are too scared to wait and ask him to pull them up together. Rip tries to tell her that he can't do so because they're too heavy, but they don't listen, until Kim looses her grip and falls to her death, followed shortly by her boyfriend that, instead of letting Rip pulling him up, decides to follow her by letting the lasso go and falling as well. While shocked by the two's death, not having to pull them up anymore allows Rip to shoot and kill another (or maybe the same) grizzly that was charging at him.
Sheriff Donnie Haskell later tries to frame Rip by tampering the scene: he hids the shell casings fell from Rip's rifle that would prove proving that he killed the grizzly for self-defence, but John Dutton figures it out and forces him to confess. While the sheriff is reprimanded by John for what he did, Donnie keeps expressing his disgust that many animal welfare organizations came to protest against the grizzly's death while no one does the same for Kim and her boyfriend, and refuses to believe Rip's recounting of the facts surrounding the incident, but John dismisses him.
