Incident of the Widowed Dove is the fourth episode of the first season of Rawhide. It first aired on January 30, 1959.

Plot[]

The drovers party in a small town but with big consequences. One drover is killed over a crooked roulette wheel and Rowdy quits the drive to help a woman. Rowdy may pay with his life because the woman is the wife of the Marshal. - Source: IMDb.com

  • Some of the footage of the cowboys hitting town was later used in the intro's of some episodes of the 4th and 7th season.
