Albert Monroe and his wife Mary are the head of a family heading for Wyoming to make a living. They have five children: Clayt, Kathleen, Jefferson, Fennimore and Amy. Both he and his wife die when the family crosses a river on the journey to the farm land claimed some years before. They leave behind their five children, who then have to care for themselves.
Albert Monroe is a character of The Monroes, portrayed by Russ Conway.
